During our pre-operation consultations, I will provide you with enough relevant information to help you make an informed decision about the proposed procedure. We will discuss realistic post-surgery results, any aftercare considerations and any potential risks or complications you may face. Cataract surgery
I perform cataract surgery both with standard intraocular lenses and "customised" ones.
Refractive lens exchange
Refractive lens exchange may be suitable for the correction of myopia, hypermetropia, astigmatism and presbyopia.
Vitrectomy
A vitrectomy may be suitable for macular holes, epiretinal membranes, retinal detachment, vitreous opacities and floaters and vitreous hemorrhage.
Intravitreal injections/laser
This procedure is used to remedy retinal vein occlusion, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration.
